We booked Icing of the Cake through WedgeWood Wedding venue and I couldn’t have been more pleased. We had a six inch round with 40 cupcakes and it was to die for. The six inch was white Chocolate raspberry and the cupcakes were vanilla and lemon curd and let me tell you, they were so dang good we hardly had any left overs. The decoration was also gorgeous! would definitely order from here again!

I ordered a Bluey cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday. we had to place the order a little late since we're new to Colorado Springs. The bakers here did amazing! I just told them I wanted Bluey and Bingo on it and to say Happy Birthday Nova and gave them artistic freedom from there, and I was definitely not disappointed! the cake is beautiful and tasty! 6 best cake I've ever tasted. When I spoke with them in store and over the phone, they were very polite and helpful. 10/10 recommend.

Will first started coming to Icing On The Cake several years ago to pick up a treat for his mom each week after her cancer treatment. Two years later, as the principal at Griffith Centers for Children, he rewards his students who stay on-task with a walk down to Icing On The Cake each Friday.

Back in April of 2021, when Will saw that Icing On The Cake was for sale, he decided to purchase the shop so that his students could continue their Friday tradition.

Cake Decorator

Emily is one of our stars. She is legally blind and lives at the Colorado Deaf and Blind School. It is an honor for us to employ such a lovely young lady. You will find cookies that she has cut out and decorated in the case. As well as beautifully decorated cupcakes that are sold as 6 packs in the store. She is learning how to measure ingredients, fill cake and cupcake pans, as well as other fun things.

Icing on the cake has been a custom cake business in Colorado Springs, Colorado for 11 years. We are very dedicated to our customers and working with the community. When our business came up on hard times, Will Sanders, a regular customer of the shop bought the store in order to keep it running.
